Chapter 420: Just Endure It and It Will Pass

Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train

Beneath the small estate lay a massive warehouse.

After unlocking it with the password and key, Ming Chu looked at the contents inside. She was just relieved that these supplies were already packed and that she had boxes of every size available.

Her largest boxes could fit the biggest pieces of equipment, and once those were in, she could pack the rest around them.

Ming Chu could only be thankful that while there was a lot of gear, none of it was too bulky—or rather, some of the massive instruments had been disassembled. Ming Chu packed them away one by one, eventually taking up about 80 cubic meters of space.

When Ming Chu emerged from the warehouse, she saw the elderly couple cooking noodles. The people from the vehicle had also climbed out. Ming Chu walked over, and Zhong Shuang immediately looked up, her eyes filled with a silent question.

"It's done," Ming Chu nodded.

Zhong Shuang let out a sigh of relief. Ming Chu handed her a phone: "Take a look. I took pictures of everything. Is anything missing? Or is there anything we need to supplement? We can grab more elsewhere if needed."

"Okay." Zhong Shuang actually checked it very carefully.

Everything was there. Uncle and Aunt had guarded it well; although they kept the place clean, they never touched the equipment itself.

"It's all here," Zhong Shuang said, her gaze shifting to Uncle and Aunt. She asked Ming Chu, "Can we take them with us?"

"Sure," Ming Chu nodded readily. "You're planning to build a sea base anyway. It's not like it's just going to be us, right? Wouldn't it be better to have more of our own people?"

"...A base?"

Zhong Shuang was stunned.

She pondered for a moment and didn't dwell on the topic, instead turning to tell Uncle and Aunt that they were leaving together.
