Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
It was a giant turtle, even larger than the mutated great swordfish. Its shell was a rare deep blue, and it seemed to have some fine, shimmering reflections on it; frankly, it looked very much like a starry sky, very beautiful.
This color was likely a mutation as well.
But what Ming Chu found even more chilling was how it had gotten so close to her without her noticing.
It was like something out of a horror story.
But the giant turtle seemed to overlook Ming Chu; its elongated neck brought its mouth close to the swordfish.
Then, it took a bite.
This was the first time Ming Chu realized a turtle's teeth could be so sharp. She quietly dove a little deeper and then tiptoed around it.
As soon as she circled out, she saw the official team members, who were a bit far away, still waiting for her.
Seeing she was fine, the people over there frantically waved at her with subtle movements.
Ming Chu felt a warmth in her heart. She swam over and surfaced with them.
Only a small boat remained on the surface. Although it was called a small boat, that was only in comparison to the previous cargo ship; it was actually more than enough to seat a dozen people.
Although the battle today was intense, everyone helped each other and successfully got on the boat.
“Let’s row away a bit further first. We’ll head straight back and report what happened today,” one of them said first.
So, four people picked up the oars and rowed forward in coordination.
Ming Chu and the others didn't know that as the boat rowed away as lightly as possible, the turtle underwater actually looked up at the surface. After discovering that the humans and the boat had left, it only thought about it for a moment before continuing to eat the fish.
The kind-hearted bipedal feeders had left first; they didn't seem to want to keep it.
