Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ming Chu had gone berserk.
At her request, the gap in the door was opened wider, allowing more cyan shrimp to enter, but Ming Chu held the line entirely on her own. The others, standing by with their knives, felt almost absurdly idle.
But they couldn't get to the monsters!
Ming Chu didn't let a single one slip through; she even reached out to pull the door open further herself.
The flash of her blade in the water became an impenetrable net, and the underwater resistance seemed to have no effect on her at all.
Originally, this group of cyan shrimp was quite large—five or six hundred in total—otherwise, they wouldn't have been scared into hiding in here. But now, after only five minutes, the shrimp were nothing but a pile of corpses on the floor.
Determined that the shrimp were either dead or had fled, Ming Chu pulled the door open, looped a rope around two people, and with a single tug, hauled them out.
What was she doing?
Was she trying to kill them?
It was no wonder they were suspicious; Ming Chu's behavior was too strange.
The remaining eight people subconsciously chased after her. They didn't even care about the supplies in the warehouse anymore; after all, supplies could be retrieved later, but how could they compare to their teammates?
Even while dragging two people, Ming Chu didn't slow down in the slightest. She darted out of the shopping mall like a nimble fish and headed toward the surface.
The people behind her glanced at each other and figured Ming Chu probably wasn't trying to kill them. Their brains finally caught up: if she wanted to kill them, she could have slaughtered a few back in the warehouse when they weren't looking.
Why bother tying them up to take them away?
But just as they were about to slow down, they saw Ming Chu's blade probing toward the two people she was dragging.
The eight people behind her: “...”
In the end, they caught up anyway.
Ming Chu broke the surface. One of the two people she had tied up tightly struggled to wipe the oxygen mask off the other, sighing helplessly: “Tell me, girl, what’s wrong with you? Why did you suddenly act like you were triggered?”
“Get on the boat quickly. I think I saw something very dangerous underwater just now,” Ming Chu said concisely.
