Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
What would be the effect of three people with strength exceeding human limits pulling together?
Before, Lan Qi and Xu Ruo had been making steady progress, but now it was a violent tug.
They saw a massive, elongated object being pulled directly out of the sea, and it seemed two of the tentacles were shorter than the others.
Once it was pulled onto the shore, its fate was sealed.
Ming Chu didn't even have a chance to intervene; an excited Lan Qi rushed forward.
Xu Ruo provided support, and Ming Chu tested the hardness and recovery ability on the side, only to see Lan Qi rip the octopus's eight tentacles off.
All the detached tentacles were rolled up and placed into a large box Ming Chu had produced. With only the head left, Lan Qi carried it back using the box. Xu Ruo stretched her muscles, pondered for a moment, and said to Ming Chu, "If we go by their current strength, if ordinary people could drag them onto land, they should be able to handle them."
But the difficulty lay in the fact that this mutation coincided with the heavy rainfall.
Even if this rainfall had a time limit and the water eventually receded, the time when the ground was covered in a layer of water was the most dangerous period.
Besides...
Was it really that simple?
Thinking about the difficulty of their previous world, all the different worlds they had experienced actually increased in difficulty from low to high. This world wouldn't be easier than the last one; the hardest part of the previous world was its infectivity.
What about this world?
"Let's go," Ming Chu climbed to the rooftop, preparing to carry Zhong Shuang.
But Zhong Shuang spoke.
"I'm a cripple; I can't walk."
Ming Chu was stunned, then realized, "No wonder you didn't feel pain even when your ankle was wrapped."
Zhong Shuang: "...Is that all you wanted to say?"
