Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ming Chu returned to where Wen Zheng and his team were staying.
She had said she would be back in 40 minutes, but between talking to Mangmang, feeding it, and even packing up a snack for the giant python, only 35 minutes had passed.
Seeing her return, Wen Zheng didn't delay: "We'll go this way."
Wen Zheng had clearly already scouted the path, leading Ming Chu around the guarded areas and straight toward their target.
"No need to observe the situation over there; I'll have Mengmeng sync the surveillance to you." Ming Chu poked Mengmeng, and it immediately hacked into Wen Zheng’s phone.
Wen Zheng: "..."
Sure enough, from the moment he started doing missions with Ming Chu, he could feel a strange sense of smoothness.
He took out his phone and saw the surveillance feed, which even allowed him to adjust the size and angle.
Ming Chu used the portable safe house to pass through the wall as usual. She once again marveled at how useful it was; it had been the MVP in both worlds.
Well, Mengmeng was also an MVP.
Ming Chu put on her headset and reminded Wen Zheng: "Do you have an earpiece? Mengmeng can connect to yours to give you alerts."
"I do."
Wen Zheng had actually prepared one and brought it along.
Once the earpiece was in, he heard a tiny, milky voice: "Wen Zheng? Wen Zheng? Can you hear me?"
"I can hear you. I'll be troubling you, Mengmeng."
"It's no trouble at all~ Don't worry, Wen Zheng, my sister and I will protect you~" Mengmeng really liked Wen Zheng's politeness.
The infiltration process went quite smoothly. Mengmeng had hacked the G Zone surveillance once before, so doing it again was second nature.
Ming Chu’s strength and Wen Zheng’s experience made them a perfect team, especially since they were training partners back on Blue Star.
With Mengmeng acting as a bug-like guide, it only took them fifteen minutes to infiltrate the building housing the missiles.
"This way, over here."
