Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
The Divine Tree Base had gone insane.
Just as Ming Chu arrived at the base wall, she received a message from someone waiting by the perimeter.
She used her portable safe house to pass through the wall and immediately encountered a familiar young man.
"Sister Ming Chu, you arrived so quickly? Quick, come over here, Brother Wen is waiting for you."
The young man was surprised, but since she had arrived, the faster they moved, the better. He beckoned to Ming Chu and led her charging inside.
Wen Zheng and his team had plenty of stealth tactics; they had already moved to a new location to lie low.
Ming Chu followed the young man, her brow furrowed as she asked, "What happened?"
"The people at the base have lost their minds. They want to use missiles to strike the Divine Tree!"
As he said this, the young man’s expression twisted.
There was also a deep sense of confusion and disbelief.
He was one of those who had spawned directly into the base. He had carefully scouted and gathered quite a bit of information, and the most abundant intelligence was about the Divine Tree.
The Divine Fruits of the Divine Tree were almost equivalent to physical enhancement pills, and compared to the stable 50% boost of those pills, the Divine Fruits were more about unlocking genetic locks.
Once the genetic lock was broken, humans embarked on a path of evolution, opening up infinite possibilities.
On some level, the Divine Fruits were perhaps even more precious than the physical enhancement pills.
Just as they were all thinking that if they had the chance, they would definitely bring Divine Fruits back, the people at the Divine Tree Base were planning to blow it up?
"How long until they launch? Did Wen Zheng say anything? What about Cheng Cheng? Where is she?"
Ming Chu fired off questions one by one, and the young man answered them in turn.
"It was Cheng Cheng who overheard it by accident. She said they plan to bomb it in two hours. Brother Wen said only you would have a way to handle this, otherwise we would have to resort to a forced operation. Cheng Cheng is with Brother Wen right now; he’s taking her to find ways to gather more intel."
