Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ming Chu witnessed just how practiced the older sister/brother was at disciplining the younger sister/brother.
—She wasn't sure about the gender, as she hadn't learned how to identify the sex of snakes; it wasn't like cats where you could just stand them up and check for little bells.
But then again, as long as they were intelligent beings, they were very adept at disciplining their younger siblings.
Oh, tail-disciplined.
The giant python lashed out twice with its tail, pinning Mangmang to the branch, not daring to move. The snake's tongue kept flicking toward Ming Chu, and the hissing sounded particularly aggrieved.
"Be good. You almost smashed the nest, and we almost fell off. You can't be so impulsive next time." Ming Chu patted its head, not interfering with the giant python disciplining its own brat.
But she felt sorry for Mangmang, so she chose to feed it a small bucket of milk tea.
This was a small bucket she had specifically portioned out. The previous large buckets held nearly 20L of milk tea, but now these were 3L buckets. One bucket would give it a sense of being tipsy, but it wouldn't hurt its brain.
Mangmang's eyes immediately cleared up, and it was no longer aggrieved, rubbing its large head gently against Ming Chu, wanting more milk tea.
"No, you'll get drunk if you drink too much." Ming Chu refused.
Mangmang looked at her with longing eyes, and then Ming Chu smiled at the giant python: "Big Python, do you want to try some?"
As she spoke, she took a sip herself.
The giant python watched Ming Chu take a sip and saw she was fine, so it lowered its head slightly and opened its mouth.
Ming Chu poured a whole large bucket of milk tea into its mouth. The giant python closed its mouth, and the milk tea went down its throat.
Then its eyes widened.
Heaven knows how Ming Chu could tell its eyes widened, but she could definitely feel its shock.
Ming Chu also handed a cup of milk tea to Awuh nearby: "Where is Amu? Let her come out too."
Awuh returned the portable safe house to Ming Chu. Ming Chu let Amu out and also gave her a cup of milk tea, the kind without ice.
"Ming Chu, it's delicious!" This was the child's first time drinking milk tea, and she was immediately conquered by the taste.
Ming Chu smiled and patted her head: "If you like it, I'll have Chang Zhou teach you how to make simple milk tea later, and leave you some tea leaves."
