Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
When Ming Chu moved to the left, that massive tail moved to the left.
When Ming Chu moved to the right, that massive tail followed to the right.
If it weren't for the fact that the giant tail was merely blocking her path without any intention of attacking her, Ming Chu would have thought the giant python was drunk on milk tea, just with a slower reaction time.
"What's wrong? I have things to do back home, but I really will come to see you in a couple of days. I'll bring a top-tier chef to slaughter and roast meat for you right on the spot," Ming Chu said patiently to the giant python.
She hoped the giant python would move its tail so she could leave first.
But that tail was incredibly stubborn. Not only that, but after the giant python hissed twice at Mangmang, Mangmang actually ran over happily and wrapped its tail around Ming Chu.
"Mangmang, don't follow the big python's lead," Ming Chu said, feeling a headache coming on.
The giant python probably couldn't easily coil around a tiny human because of its own massive size.
However, Mangmang had no such concerns. Although its size was on the larger side, it hadn't reached the scale of a full-blown Titan monster like the giant python.
Yet, Ming Chu was worried about hurting Mangmang, so she didn't dare to use too much force.
This led to a standoff between Ming Chu and Mangmang, while the giant python slowly descended, encircling her with its massive body.
It was the kind of situation where it wouldn't attack her and showed no malice, but simply wouldn't let her leave.
Ming Chu played a game of wits with Mangmang, jumping away just before its tail could coil around her, but this stalemate wasn't a sustainable solution.
Finally, Ming Chu raised her hand and shouted, "Stop! Wait a second, let me confirm: you aren't going back on your word and trying to kill me, are you? You want me to stay for a bit? Or do you need my help?"
"Hiss, hiss."
The giant python finally moved. It hissed twice at Mangmang, and Mangmang looked a bit reluctant: "Hiss, hiss."
The giant python: "Hiss."
The two giant snakes exchanged something, and in the end, Mangmang finally backed off a little, coiled up Awuh and Amu, and headed downward.
As for the giant python, it lowered its head, signaling for Ming Chu to climb onto it.
Ming Chu climbed up.
The giant python carried her as it climbed up the trunk of the Divine Tree. Ming Chu estimated they had climbed over a hundred meters when it suddenly stopped.
