Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ming Chu and Miss Zhao returned to Eden.
Miss Zhao was wrapped in the combat suit, but this time, the suit was to prevent the radiation on her from leaking out into Eden.
Her coughing hadn't stopped, but her spirits were still high.
Ming Chu sent her to Yan Yan. Yan Yan took over, checked her, and nodded at Ming Chu: "No major problems. It can be treated, and she can recover. The medicine? Did you bring it back?"
"I did." Ming Chu pulled a pile out of her space for her, some picked, some dug up with soil to be replanted.
"Alright, go back. I'll handle things here. Once her condition is stable, you can take her out again." Yan Yan started shooing her away.
Ming Chu: "Alright."
She returned to school, easily avoiding those who were watching and the surveillance, and lay back on her bed.
Over the next five days, Ming Chu took Miss Zhao out three more times.
Her reaction was strongest the first time, but by the last time, she had stopped coughing.
She had adapted to the environment outside.
However, it was limited to that valley, about ten kilometers in diameter. It wasn't too big, but it was enough to build a small city.
"It really is possible..." Miss Zhao murmured, her eyes reddening for a moment.
But then, she discussed with Ming Chu: "Can we ask your people to help us dig the tunnel?"

The side quest had triggered; was she supposed to go against it?
She agreed decisively: "Sure. I'll have people work in shifts to help you, and I'll have Taozi help block the surveillance videos."
