Ming Chu didn't claim the rewards. She ignored the notification and checked on Wen Zheng’s condition first.
The captain of the fallen player squad was indeed quite capable. He had used some low-level items during the fight with Wen Zheng, and although the damage wasn't severe, Wen Zheng had sustained some injuries.
"Go back and apply some medicated oil."
Ming Chu confirmed that Wen Zheng only had bruises and let go of his sleeve.
It was fortunate that Wen Zheng was also wearing a B-grade combat suit, so the low-level items couldn't penetrate his defense; it was just the force of the impact that caused some injuries, nothing serious.
Wen Zheng remembered there were others nearby, so he just nodded silently.
Ming Chu looked at the two corpses on the ground, thoughtful: "Do you think the captain still has any items on him?"
He should have used quite a few items while fighting Wen Zheng, but during that final strike, he didn't really have a chance to use any, because the shield was cracked by Ming Chu’s first suitcase and shattered by the second, and the remaining force of the suitcase had crushed the captain’s head.
The gloomy player had witnessed this scene and didn't even have the strength to struggle when he died.
It was because of this scene of brains splattered everywhere that Ming Chu was debating whether looting the corpses was worth it.
She had seen many terrifying and disgusting monsters, but human brains... she could kill people, but she really didn't want to touch that.
While Ming Chu was still having an internal struggle, Wen Zheng had already squatted down to loot the bodies.
Although the items sold on their train were few, they would receive a notification if they encountered any items.
Wen Zheng was very meticulous in looting. He pulled 13 items off the captain, and when he looked up, he saw Ming Chu holding a bucket of water: "Go ahead and wash up."
Wen Zheng didn't rush to wash; he went to loot the gloomy player as well before coming over to clean up.
The official bait felt his heart skip a beat and lingered, not daring to come out.
"Aren't you going to come out and burn the bodies?"
