Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Wen Zheng is actually quite useful for drawing aggro.
This thought flashed through Ming Chu’s mind as she glided past, blocking the gloomy player’s erratic strike.
"Are you an assassin too?" the gloomy player sneered, looking at Ming Chu. "A coward hiding your face—are you even a man?"
Ming Chu: I’m actually not a man either!
But—
Ming Chu tilted her head and looked at Wen Zheng: "Can you handle it?"
Wen Zheng, surprised by Ming Chu’s voice change, swallowed the words that almost slipped out and nodded fiercely.
At first, Wen Zheng wanted to take on the weaker one, but the gloomy player had some sort of special trait—his speed was too fast.
Wen Zheng wasn't confident he could crush him given that speed, so he decided to just listen to Ming Chu.
Besides, losing to the strongest captain of a team wasn't exactly a shameful thing to say, right?
"Hiss."
The official’s bait hadn't left yet. He had secretly followed them to the vicinity, and although he wasn't recording video, he had witnessed the battle between Ming Chu and the others.
To be honest, before Ming Chu and her partner arrived, the officials were mostly pessimistic.
That was because few officials had seen Ming Chu’s combat prowess, but many had seen the strength of these fallen players.
They had simply run out of options, which was why they were relying on Ming Chu and Wen Zheng.
But now, he was absolutely stunned.
First, Ming Chu easily killed an enemy he couldn't even escape from. After burning the corpse, he had impatiently chased after them, only to see two fresh corpses.
He had subconsciously moved the bodies under the eaves to keep them out of the rain, then lit a fire to burn them, and when he couldn't help but follow them again, he witnessed a battle scene he completely couldn't follow.
The official’s bait retreated two steps silently, hiding behind a tree. Even though the tactical watch on his wrist could record video, he didn't turn it on.
He followed orders perfectly.
