Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Inside the portable safe house, Ming Chu, Xu Ruo, and Wen Zheng collided. She rubbed her forehead, which had been bumped against Wen Zheng's shoulder, and glared at them: "Didn't we agree that you'd only come out if I started fighting? What's this? We haven't even started fighting, and you couldn't help yourselves?"
Xu Ruo gave an awkward smile, trying to change the subject: "It's good that you're okay."
"I'm fine, but I don't know if you two are," Ming Chu said, her expression turning serious. "Do you have any idea how dangerous it would have been if you had run out just now? I would have had to go and fish you out instead."
"If I said we weren't planning to rush out immediately, but just wanted to stay by the door to support you at any moment, would you believe me?" Wen Zheng raised his hand to speak silently.
Ming Chu looked suspicious: "Really?"
Xu Ruo nodded quickly: "Really. Look, if we were really going to go out, how could we have only bumped your forehead red just now?"
Ming Chu's eyes grew even more dim: "Do you know how thick my skin is (physically) right now? You don't think bumping me red counts as having a lot of force?"
"I can only say that Wen Zheng's shoulder is too hard," Xu Ruo said with a straight face.
Wen Zheng was shocked.
Xu Ruo, I can't believe you're that kind of person!
But turning back, Wen Zheng said: "Right, it must be that my bones are too hard."
Ming Chu: "..."
That's it.
She couldn't hold it in anymore. Where were her two calm and steady teammates?
How did they become like this?
Rolling her eyes at them, Ming Chu emphasized: "I don't care if you were trying to guard me or wanted to go out this time; next time, I hope you listen to me properly. First, it's not certain I couldn't beat this octopus. Second, even if I couldn't, you two going out wouldn't necessarily win either. Finally, if I can't win and get injured, I need you two to be unharmed and maintain your combat capability to bring me back from the deep sea. Understand?"
