Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
The train stopped.
Ming Chu got off the train with the others, appearing once again in the bathroom of her master bedroom.
When she went downstairs, she saw Mother Ming, Father Ming, and Ming Ling all sitting on the sofa, staring eagerly at the stairs.
Seeing Ming Chu come down, the three of them stood up immediately, "Chuchu/Sister, you're back!"
The three rushed over, circling Ming Chu to look her up and down, ensuring she wasn't injured before they felt relieved.
Father Ming had a heart full of fatherly love, "You've lost..."
Before he could finish, he saw Ming Chu's chubby cheeks and couldn't continue.
Ming Chu looked innocent, "I met a teammate who is great at cooking this time, so I really didn't go hungry."
Ming Ling also leaned in front of Ming Chu, asking, "Can I try some then?"
"Sure, I brought some back." Ming Chu nodded and then asked, "How many days have I been gone?"
"Three days."
Ming Ling answered quickly.
Ming Chu was thoughtful. She suddenly asked, "Have you adapted to your powers? Have you been doing your daily training?"
Mother Ming and Father Ming: "..."
Ming Ling raised her hand happily, "I've trained for two hours every day. Our teacher exempted me from evening self-study, so I have time to train every day. But Mom and Dad aren't used to training, so they don't do much now."
"Dad, Mom." Ming Chu looked at her parents.
Father Ming's eyes drifted, and he quickly replied, "I will work hard."
Mother Ming was frank, "I don't really have a talent for physical strength or melee combat, so I've been practicing shooting during the day."
Ming Ling was incredulous, "Shooting? Why didn't you let me join?"
"Because you're at school," Mother Ming said.
