Chapter 288: The Scale Is Too Hot to Handle

Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train

Ming Chu finally climbed out of the tree hole cavern. She had set up a tent inside, taken a three-minute shower to wash off the blood, and climbed out as quickly as possible.

The first thing she saw when she climbed out was the giant python's massive head.

And before she could even speak, the giant python's head leaned in, its snake tongue brushing against her body a few times, and then it froze.

"Hiss."

No wounds, no blood.

Ming Chu: "..."

She explained with a subtle expression: "I wasn't injured before; it was just an accident. In short, I'm fine. I gave the little tree the soil it wanted, and it was the one who let me out."

Actually, there was no need to ask Ming Chu, because the little monkey that climbed out right after her was already dancing and performing for the giant python over there.

For a moment, Ming Chu wondered how these animals communicated.

Was it like her now, having a bit of an "intuitive understanding" of these animals' roars?

The giant python confirmed that the little tree was fine—the only injury was one it had caused itself, and it wouldn't take its anger out on Ming Chu.

After all, Ming Chu was someone the little tree had insisted on having go in. Animals are relatively simple; complex emotions like taking anger out on others rarely appear. They are more direct with hatred and retaliation.

"Hiss." The giant python gestured toward the Divine Fruits above for Ming Chu.

"I already have plenty; I don't need any for now. In a while, I'll come by again before I leave. If there are extra Divine Fruits then, I'll take a few more."

Ming Chu declined the giant python's kindness.

She really felt she had enough Divine Fruits now, and she had a new experiment: to see if the twin Divine Trees could grow in her space.

If they could grow, she wouldn't need to take too many Divine Fruits back; it was better to leave more of this world's resources for the creatures of this world.

She wasn't here to plunder.
