Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ming Chu brought back a large wild pheasant this time.
When Chang Zhou began plucking the feathers, several of Yu Feng's team members with minor injuries were sensible enough to come over and help. They were quite skilled, and with their assistance, the chicken was processed very quickly.
Chang Zhou took some bottles and jars out of his backpack, cut the chicken into appropriate sizes, separated the wings and legs, and after marinating them, he spent the waiting time whittling quite a few skewers.
Then, he threaded the marinated meat onto the skewers and began to roast them.
He didn't use many seasonings, and the ones he did use were mostly powdered. The small bottles were plain with no labels, looking just like seasonings they had processed themselves.
Therefore, Yu Feng and his team didn't think much of it.
However, as soon as the chicken hit the fire and began to roast, a wave of aroma wafted over, and everyone's eyes shifted to Chang Zhou's hands.
It smelled so good.
How could something roasted with just that little bit of seasoning smell so delicious?
Everyone stared at Chang Zhou without blinking, stretching their necks and twitching their noses incessantly.
Especially Yu Feng's group; although they had eaten a little earlier, they had been hungry for two or three days, and the food Lan Qi had been carrying wasn't much—after all, to be realistic, she couldn't just carry a huge bucket around.
So, their stomachs were all growling.
And then...
Chang Zhou couldn't help but ask, "Can you guys stop crowding me? If you have time, go to the side and flip the meat."
"Oh, oh." Yu Feng's teammates wiped the drool that hadn't quite fallen from their mouths, slowly moved to the side, and began to help roast the meat earnestly.
Yu Feng, who was standing to the side: "..."
He silently covered his face, not wanting to look at his embarrassing teammates.
But his legs were honest; he walked to the fire and started roasting meat too.
