Chapter 259: The Base Team

Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train

About two kilometers away from the camper.

It was also beneath a giant tree, in the same dim light.

Compared to Ming Chu and her group, who were still quite relaxed, the seven people huddled together on the tree branches all wore expressions of terror and panic.

They were like birds startled by the mere twang of a bow; even when a harmless, palm-sized insect crawled by, they nearly launched an instinctive attack.

Five of the seven were pale, and three had blood on their clothes, so weak they could only lie down.

The remaining two had minor injuries, but they were exhausted, having gone two days and two nights without sleep or much food, and were now on the verge of a breakdown.

When they heard movement again, they were nearly at their breaking point.

Fortunately, this time it was Lan Qi and her group.

All seven were on the verge of tears: "Sister Lan Qi, you finally came."

Lan Qi climbed up, carrying supplies: "Eat something and drink some water. It's okay now. My companions have arrived too, and we brought some medicine. Let me treat your wounds first."

The second person to climb up was Ming Chu.

Ming Chu was still wearing a mask; the black fabric covered most of her face, and she had the hood of her jacket pulled up, revealing only her eyes when she looked up.

Carrying medicine, she went straight to the woman whose face was flushed with fever and fed her a pill.

Ming Chu's movements were so fast that no one had time to react.

Once they did, someone looked at Ming Chu with suspicion: "What did you feed the deputy leader?"

"Medicine." Ming Chu glanced at them. "Keep yapping and I won't give you any more. If Sister Lan hadn't told me to save you, I wouldn't want to waste such precious medicine."
