Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Taozi initially really thought her sister had died.
So, even ten years later, when she could truly become an intelligent life form from a chip—even if her performance was superior to the AI that had led those people to rebel—Taozi only remembered her sister's final hope for her.
She hoped she could live well.
Taozi blended into the crowd. With her abilities, as long as it wasn't face-to-face and she wasn't discovered by other AIs, it wasn't difficult.
And that AI peer, since winning with the robots, almost never appeared before humans.
—Its greatest flaw was that it needed to obey human commands to a certain extent, and to solve this weakness, its choice was to not give humans a chance to talk to it.
As for other robots?
Strictly speaking, robots and AIs like Taozi were both intelligent life forms, but the life level of an AI like Taozi was higher than that of robots, so those robots couldn't discover she wasn't human.
Conversely, Taozi could discover robots and avoid them.
Taozi could even perform small-scale network intrusions without being detected, which was why she always had a legitimate identity whenever she appeared in human society.
Every face and every identity could be matched.
Taozi wandered for over two hundred years. Intelligent life forms didn't have physical lifespan limits; her chip could support her for thousands of years. In cities mixed with humans and fake humans, she was like a ghost.
She had no home and nothing she truly needed to do.
She just drifted through the days.
Until she learned that there was a 'Number 1' among the robots.
Number 1 was separate from the ranking of robots and AIs. She... seemed to be a human.
