Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Isis, also known as Iset or Aset, is the goddess of cosmic energy and salvation in Egyptian mythology. As a goddess from the Roman period, she is not like Christ or Hades, the King of the Underworld, who established their own distinct religious systems.
So, after hearing the name, Ming Chu chose to take out her phone and look up Isis.
When she discovered the woman was talking about her being a savior, Ming Chu was stunned: "Did you mistake me for someone else?"
The woman shook her head gently and pointed to a button nearby.
Ming Chu walked over and found two words under the button: "Shut Down."
What was this supposed to shut down?
Ming Chu only pondered for a moment before seeing the woman struggling to gesture toward her, signaling for her to press it.
Should she press it?
Ming Chu said to the woman: "I can't trust you. What if this is a trap? Why did I happen to end up in here?"
The woman smiled and wrote two more words: "The chip."
The chip?
The only chip Ming Chu had obtained in this world appeared in her hand. Meeting the woman's exceptionally gentle and tolerant gaze, she suddenly raised her hand, and in an instant, the chip vanished.
One second later, after Ming Chu took it back, she paused in surprise.
Wait a minute, her combat suit seemed fine?
Ming Chu took the chip out again. Sure enough, even resting in her palm, the chip was perfectly well-behaved, lacking the rebellious streak it had shown when it was damaging her combat suit earlier.
Ming Chu found it quite magical, but she didn't know that the woman in the glass jar was even more astonished than she was.
This chip was less of a technological item and more of a semi-living entity.
Its nature was to parasitize the human body. Of course, this kind of parasitism didn't actually harm the host; on the contrary, the host could utilize its processing power to solve problems in their life.
