Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
A male voice, a female voice.
They said that sentence almost simultaneously.
Because her throat was being pressed, the woman's voice wasn't loud, and even mixed with Jiang Kengqiang's voice, it wasn't very audible.
But Ming Chu was shocked. She crouched down almost instantly and pulled off the woman's earplugs. She lowered her voice, once again grateful that she had spent over a year in a voice-acting club during her freshman year due to interest.
A clear, youthful voice came from her.
"What do you mean by 'deceived'? What do you know?"
Jiang Kengqiang beside her looked horrified: "You..."
"I have things I want to ask her. Can you help me keep watch outside?" Ming Chu interrupted him.
Jiang Kengqiang gasped and said, "Sure, I'll keep watch for you. You... you be careful. Although she's crazy, her combat power isn't weak."
"Okay, don't worry, I know what I'm doing." Ming Chu nodded.
Jiang Kengqiang went out.
Ming Chu didn't untie the ropes on the woman, nor did she remove her blindfold. She simply helped the woman up, let her sit in a more comfortable position, and then sat cross-legged opposite her, asking: "Are you willing to chat with me?"
"Then untie me first?" The woman didn't reduce her guard against Ming Chu because of her actions; instead, the thorns on her body stood up even more.
Ming Chu refused directly: "That won't work. I'm not sure of your danger level, and I can't give you the chance to see my face."
The woman choked, but she quickly said: "Then I don't feel your sincerity."
She was even thinking whether discovering Jiang Kengqiang was a trap.
