Chapter 169: Special Police

Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train

The cafeteria is about a 10-minute walk from the dormitory, or just 6 minutes if you walk quickly.

They arrived early, as many students don't return until just before evening self-study starts. Because of this, the second floor of the cafeteria wasn't crowded, and Li Xian successfully ordered a large chicken leg along with a few of her favorite dishes.

The food on the second floor is slightly more expensive; a meal on the first floor averages 7 yuan, while the second floor averages 11 yuan.

For instance, with the added chicken leg and two other meat dishes plus one vegetable, Li Xian's meal came to 15 yuan.

Ming Chu ordered a similar spread, which also cost her 15 yuan.

Li Xian paid with cash, stuffed the change into her pocket, found a seat with Ming Chu, and immediately took a bite of the large chicken leg.

The cafeteria cooks are quite skilled; the spicy chicken leg was incredibly flavorful, and once Li Xian started eating, she couldn't stop.

Ming Chu’s back, however, stiffened slightly.

That feeling of being watched had swept over her again.

Fortunately, this time the sensation didn't linger on Ming Chu; it felt as if 'They' were just passing through on a whim, without any specific target.

Where exactly are 'They'?

As Ming Chu was pondering this, she suddenly saw two people dressed in black tactical gear walking toward them.

Their gait and rhythm looked very familiar. Ming Chu had dealt with such people extensively in her previous world, and she had encountered similar types on Blue Star as well.

Are they military or police?
