Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
The sound of a phone hitting the ground came through, and after a loud noise, Li Xian's voice disappeared.
Ming Chu's heart skipped a beat. She quickly dialed back, but it was already a busy signal.
Dan Jin.
She felt like she had seen this name before.
Ming Chu suddenly opened her chat app and searched. Sure enough, she found the name. She decisively made a voice call. It rang for nearly a minute, almost hanging up automatically, before someone answered.
“Hello? Who is this?”
The boy was panting, but his words were still clear.
Ming Chu got straight to the point: “Where is Li Xian? Is she with you? What happened to you guys?”
“She’s by my side. Her phone fell to the ground during a collision, but we’re okay for now.” Dan Jin answered her questions one by one, then said, “I’ll let her talk to you.”
Soon, Li Xian took over the phone.
“Chuchu, don’t worry, I’m fine. My phone just fell… sigh, I’m just unlucky, I ran into a ‘Madman’. We’re coming back right now, don’t worry, we’re almost there.”
Li Xian rambled on, comforting Ming Chu, with no intention of hanging up.
Ming Chu waited for five minutes before she saw Li Xian running out of the alley on the opposite street. Li Xian handed the phone back to Dan Jin and ran across the street: “Chuchu, I’m here. Did you buy so much stuff?”
“You only know how to busy yourself with other things. I had to buy your share too, didn't I?” Ming Chu huffed, “Hurry up and help me carry this!”
