The white-haired woman had skin as fair as jade and features so exquisite they didn't seem real. Her white hair looked like condensed moonlight. Although she wore the same white combat uniform, her temperament had an ancient quality to it.
Even though she was approachable, Ming Chu didn't dare to trust her completely.
Chang Xi could see Ming Chu's guard and chuckled: "This train is nominally mine, so of course I know all you passenger players. Sit down. You must have many questions; feel free to ask. If I can say it, I will tell you."
Ming Chu sat down without standing on ceremony, but she remained reserved regarding Chang Xi's invitation to ask anything.
She started with a question that wasn't particularly sensitive: "Why did I receive the invitation? I'm not the strongest person, am I?"
"Because only you met the qualification for an invitation." Chang Xi was as open as she claimed to be.
Without waiting for Ming Chu to ask further, she explained it herself.
"First, because the previous worlds were preliminary tests. You can think of yourselves as beta testers. Only after succeeding in the first three worlds are you considered true passengers of the Nuwa and able to see us."
"Second, because the requirements for the invitation are strict: you must have triggered side quests in all three worlds and achieved a completion rate of at least 80%."
Ming Chu was puzzled: "What if there's no invitation?"
Chang Xi smiled lightly: "Then you would need to be at least a B-rank player to see me."
Ming Chu was currently a D-rank player, only two ranks higher than the initial F-rank. Besides her, only Xu Ruo and Lan Qi were D-rank; even Yan Yan was still E-rank.
