Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Xu Hanguang was stunned by Ming Chu's seriousness. She was still processing what it meant to have "another precognitive vision," but Xu Ruo on the other end of the phone had already reacted.
She had witnessed Ming Chu's precognition before, so her voice turned heavy instantly: "Are you sure it's a vision? Not a nightmare?"
"No, a nightmare wouldn't leave me feeling completely drained. I'm not that weak," Ming Chu muttered. "Besides, I was killing enemies. I don't even consider the enemies human."
Xu Ruo: "...Well said."
She would keep that up next time.
Xu Hanguang snapped out of her chaotic thoughts and raised a hand: "Wait, what do you mean? Is this precognition actually real?"
"You could call it a special ability of mine," Ming Chu explained simply.
Xu Hanguang was sensible enough not to pry into Ming Chu's special ability. She only confirmed: "If it really is precognition, I will report it immediately."
"Go ahead and report it." Ming Chu was distracted, still thinking about the massive wings that had flashed before her eyes.
Xu Hanguang went to file the report.
In truth, both Ming Chu and Xu Ruo knew that the authorities were aware of their special status, and the authorities likely knew that they knew they were aware.
Under this silent mutual understanding, once Xu Hanguang reported the news, it was treated with the utmost importance.
The authorities immediately began preparing to send teams for geological surveys. Meanwhile, Xu Hanguang received a transmitted form. Looking at the questions on it, she took her phone to ask Ming Chu: "Can you pinpoint the location of the fissures?"
"I only saw a few glimpses; I don't have a complete view of the terrain. I only know that the two places I saw splitting open were not cities, but I can't guarantee that cities won't crack as well."
