Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Right up until her final breath, Qiaozhong Huizi's expression remained one of despair, agony, and deep hatred.
Ming Chu stood up and saw that Number 5 had already dug the incineration pit and even laid dry wood at the bottom.
"Burn her together with him."
"Got it."
Number 5 had no psychological burden about handling corpses; he tossed her into the pit, poured fuel over her, and set it ablaze.
Pure fire couldn't completely reduce a corpse to ashes, but as long as it was burned down enough, it was fine.
Number 5 asked, "Shall we go help?"
"Let's go check it out." Ming Chu nodded. The two got back into the vehicle, and the vehicle drove forward into the town.
The town was small. Once inside, both of their keen ears could pick up faint sounds of battle, but what reached their senses first was the overpowering stench of blood.
An overly dense smell of blood meant that many people had died.
Ming Chu had excellent vision, so with the help of the lingering streetlights and the vehicle's headlights, she saw numerous corpses.
Or rather, severed limbs.
Humans were naturally prey for Geocentric Pterosaurs, so how many complete corpses could possibly remain after someone died?
By the time Ming Chu and her companion arrived, the three adult Geocentric Pterosaurs had been largely dealt with. The last one had lost its combat capability and lay on the ground. When Xu Hanguang saw her approach, she waved at her: "Come over, these Geocentric Pterosaurs aren't dead yet."
Ming Chu silently walked over, slaughtered the Geocentric Pterosaurs, and collected the points.
Xu Hanguang patted her shoulder and said, "There are still survivors in this town. Number 8 and Number 9 went to rescue them. Do you want to come along?"
