Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ming Chu kept her word; she really wasn't fighting as ferociously as before. Every time, Xu Hanguang and her team would pin down the adult Geocentric Pterosaurs, and Ming Chu would sneak up, find an opening, and swing her suitcase with all her might.
The process was a bit underhanded, but the results were incredibly gratifying.
Although it took a little longer, those large Geocentric Pterosaurs were all taken care of, and the rest were easy to handle.
Some were even captured alive on the spot to be killed by Ming Chu and Qiao Hui.
Of course, Ming Chu let Qiao Hui have the kills in the beginning.
Qiao Hui shook her head and said to Ming Chu, "I still need to maintain the illusions, so you should handle these kills."
"Maintain what illusions? Your hands are freezing. Take a break; I'll stand guard while I take care of these pterosaurs." Ming Chu pouted, "You need to trust your teammates more."
Up ahead, Xu Hanguang and the others were fighting with such ferocity that the smaller pterosaurs couldn't even break through their defensive line.
"Would that really be okay?" Qiao Hui was stunned.
Ming Chu rolled her eyes, "What wouldn't be okay? Isn't that what teammates are for—covering for each other? Alright, take a break. Oh, and eat something."
Ming Chu pulled two fruit candies from her pocket and gave them to her. Qiao Hui clutched the candies and suddenly said to Ming Chu, "Actually, we could also split up..."
"Huh? I'm coming to help!" Ming Chu was about to leave but turned back in confusion, "What did you just say?"
"It's nothing." Qiao Hui finally shook her head.
Ming Chu took advantage of her height to pat her on the head, smiling, "Alright, get some rest and stay safe. I'm off."
As she walked away, Ming Chu felt that patting the head of someone shorter than her was truly satisfying!
After Ming Chu left, Qiao Hui finally regained her focus. She wanted to call out to Ming Chu that she was still injured, but seeing Ming Chu still using her underhanded attack style, she opened her mouth and then closed it again.
People around would occasionally bring over Geocentric Pterosaurs, and Qiao Hui could see her points rising.
She counted them as they came; every 11 kills earned her a pill, and before she knew it, she had saved up three.
