Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
No one knew when they had started appearing. As soon as Ming Chu looked up, she saw small dots moving in the sky. They were fluttering about; to Ming Chu's vision, they were the size of broad beans, yet she could tell they didn't look like ordinary birds.
She lifted the child up with one hand and shouted: "Alert! Everyone, hide!!"
Following Ming Chu's line of sight, Xu Hanguang and the others saw the small dots high in the sky.
Their expressions changed drastically. Ignoring the mess at the night market, they helped the injured and shouted for the others to hide in the surrounding buildings.
Ming Chu held the child with one arm, and a high-powered telescope suddenly appeared in her other hand.
The highest magnification allowed Ming Chu to see the creatures clearly, extinguishing the last shred of hope in her heart.
"It's the Geocentric Pterosaurs! Clear the area!!"
There weren't just Ming Chu's ten people at the night market; there were also two auxiliary police officers helping out.
The two officers were still dazed, so Xu Hanguang went directly to them and showed them her credentials: "You must have received orders to follow instructions, right? We need you to clear the area now. Get everyone settled, find a way to get them into enclosed buildings, and you must, absolutely must, keep them quiet."
"Can we know what's happening?" the officer asked hesitantly.
Xu Hanguang curled her lip: "Just some monsters. If you want to know, find a place with a good view later and take a peek, but for now, evacuate immediately!"
What did she mean by monsters?
