Yan Yan's movements were very fast. Before the surgery, Ming Chu had urgently familiarized herself with common surgical instruments; as long as Yan Yan called out for a tool, she could immediately keep up.
The two worked in perfect coordination, but Liu Xu's condition on the operating table was not ideal.
The first version of the medicine wasn't perfect; while it could limit the insect to a certain extent, it wasn't enough.

"Found the insect!"
As soon as Yan Yan's voice fell, she used tweezers to extract an insect the size of a finger. Ming Chu instantly produced a glass bottle, the insect was dropped directly into it, and Ming Chu quickly closed the lid.
"Suture." Yan Yan called out again, and Ming Chu quickly handed over the suturing tools.
But just then, Ming Chu heard a faint 'click' sound.
It wasn't the sound of scissors cutting surgical thread; sharp scissors make no sound when cutting thread.
Ming Chu looked down almost subconsciously and saw a crack forming on the glass bottle.
This insect looked tiny, likely still a larva, but the glass bottle couldn't contain it at all.
Ming Chu had bottles on hand, but none with a mouth large enough to fit this glass bottle inside. Besides, even if she did, could it not just break through the glass again?
The glass bottles she had were not much thinner than bulletproof glass; they were the kind that wouldn't break even if dropped a few times.
If this insect suddenly got out and ran away...
