Let's rewind to three minutes ago.
The spot where they stopped was a somewhat remote national highway with no restrooms nearby. Since no one was particularly picky about such things anymore, Ming Chu and Liu Xu just found a wide, open area that was out of the Cheetah Squad's line of sight and didn't look like it was hiding anything to take care of their personal business.
The bugs now weren't just eggs; they wouldn't infect you just by touching your exposed skin, so going to the bathroom outside didn't cause them much psychological pressure.
However, just as they finished and were adjusting their clothes, Liu Xu felt something drop onto her head with a "plop."
She instinctively reached up to touch her head, and through her protective suit's gloves, she felt something soft.
She took it off.
She saw it.
It was a bug!!
It was a twisted parasite!!
She had seen them before; she had seen many of them in Ming Chu's glass jars!!
Stunned by the bug for two seconds, Liu Xu's sanity was on the verge of snapping. She tried her best to keep her voice steady: "Chu, Chu..."
Noticing something was wrong, Ming Chu turned around and saw the look of impending tears on Liu Xu's face. She also noticed what was in Liu Xu's hand almost immediately.
At the same time, the grass about two meters away from Liu Xu was trembling, as if something was moving inside.
