Chapter 67: The Worm Extracted from the Face

Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train

Beneath the mask of her protective suit, Ming Chu’s expression turned subtle.

She crouched down. Because of her naturally soft and sweet voice, she only needed to speak a little more gently to appear even more harmless and innocent.

“Is, is there really such a dangerous person here? But I don’t know where to go; it’s very dangerous outside right now.” The girl in the protective suit didn’t seem very old; she might have been a junior student who had come to work as an assistant.

The female student actually comforted her instead: “She went in and hasn’t come out. Since she didn’t see you, you should just run. Go that way; you might find the teachers’ dorms. Maybe someone there can save you.”

“Let me bandage your wound first. I brought some medicine.” Ming Chu had no intention of leaving; instead, she took out the medicine.

The female student was stunned. She really wanted to warn Ming Chu that if they delayed too long and that “homicidal maniac” appeared, neither of them would be able to escape.

But her survival instinct made her want to seize this glimmer of hope.

Her lips parted, and after a long while, she said, “How about you leave the medicine and run quickly?”

She chose a compromise.

“It’s fine.” Ming Chu quickly bandaged her wound.

The good news was that the bullet fragment hadn’t remained in the wound, so as long as it was cleaned, it could be bandaged. Besides the bandage, Ming Chu gave her an anti-inflammatory pill.

The female student, who had been gritting her teeth in pain, had fine beads of sweat on her forehead, but with the wound bandaged, her tightly coiled nerves eased a little.

Ming Chu asked, “Since there are others injured, do you know where they are? I’d like to go bandage their wounds too, otherwise, even if rescue comes, they might suffer greatly.”

The female student was stunned. She thought for a moment and pointed in another direction: “There’s someone hiding over there.”

“There’s also one over there, but you shouldn’t go to that one. It’s a boy, and I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to go alone.”

Ming Chu nodded and chose the direction of the first person, moving closer.
