Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Teacher Li recognized every word on the phone screen, but when put together, he felt he could no longer understand them.
What did it mean by unknown parasites?
What did it mean by trying to save ourselves for now?
"This... I..."
"We only took you down because you were attacking us when we found you." Liu Yun put down the phone while cleaning the wound on the back of Teacher Li's head.
Fortunately, his hair was short, and Ming Chu hadn't intended to kill him, controlling her strength, so the wound was still within a manageable range.
Besides bandaging him, Liu Yun also fed Teacher Li some medicine.
Specifically, anti-inflammatories and deworming pills.
That's right, she even had deworming pills. Liu Yun couldn't figure out how Ming Chu had prepared all this; she couldn't have possibly emptied out a pharmacy, could she?
After taking the medicine, Teacher Li felt much better, though there was no cure for his concussion; he would just have to tough it out.
Feeling a bit more comfortable, he began to press for information on the current situation.
Liu Yun didn't hide everything from him; she explained what had happened after the snow began and pointed out the blood-borne parasites she had collected for him to see.
Teacher Li's field of research was biology, and upon hearing this, he perked up: "I can help you research this."
Liu Yun frowned. Instead of refusing outright, she said to Teacher Li, "I need to check your body first and test your blood. I'm not sure if there are still parasites inside you."
"That's fine. Go ahead and check. Don't let me out until you're sure I'm safe." Teacher Li had no objections.
It seemed his mind was still intact.
