The snow was letting up.
Two electric scooters were traveling through the campus, witnessing a scene that was almost shocking.
—Everywhere on campus were people with eerie smiles, staring vacantly at the snow.
Under the teaching buildings, under the trees in the green belts...
They watched the snow, but they didn't let it touch them.
The sound of the electric scooters wasn't loud, but it wasn't quiet either. If they occasionally got within three meters of those vacant people, they would react to where Ming Chu and the others were.
But they seemed to be holding back for some reason; even though they took two steps toward them, they stopped again.
Was it because of the snow?
Ming Chu's heart sank. If that was the real reason, then the snow stopping wouldn't be a good thing for them at all.
"Hurry up!"
Ming Chu barked. Liu Yun was stunned: "We can't drive too fast on campus, and it's still snowing, visibility is poor, and the ground is slippery..."
