Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ten minutes later.
Inside a residential building by the street.
The lock on a second-floor apartment on the left was easily picked, and an extension cord was now dropped down to the street to charge two electric scooters.
Brother Wang wore a very complicated expression. He had already prepared himself to find a way to replace the scooters later, considering their limited range, yet Ming Chu had actually brought an electric scooter charger with her?
Ming Chu hadn't kept the item in her backpack; instead, she had stashed it in the scooter's rear storage box.
Furthermore, there were some other supplies inside the storage box, all of which Ming Chu had apparently put in at some unknown point.
For instance, ten packs of instant noodles and ten bottles of water. Carrying those on one's body would add a heavy load, but they didn't weigh down the scooter's trunk nearly as much.
"Alright, we'll be heading out with a full battery again in a bit," Ming Chu breathed a sigh of relief.
"You guys rest here. I'll go clear out the zombies around us and check the surrounding roads." Brother Wang had no intention of resting just yet.
Ming Chu nodded. "Okay, don't worry. I have a gun, which is definitely enough to deter humans."
Two days of getting along had also given Brother Wang enough reason to trust Ming Chu.
First, Ming Chu was cautious.
Second, Ming Chu was bold yet meticulous.
And most importantly, the third point: Ming Chu cared deeply, very deeply, about Lin Meng.
Therefore, after taking out a portion of his ammunition, he handed two guns to Ming Chu.
"You put these away; I won't be needing them for now."
"Okay." Ming Chu nodded.
Both of these guns were high-power with rather heavy recoil, making them not Ming Chu's first choice.
She casually tossed the guns into her bag. As Brother Wang turned and walked away, the complicated thoughts in his eyes were kept completely hidden from Ming Chu.
He had initially thought that Ming Chu's backpack was extraordinary, capable of holding far more items than its actual physical capacity.
