Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Bugs were truly the hardest things in the world to completely eradicate.
Inside the forest, a five-person team sat around a campfire. Even while resting, they held their guns, not relaxing for a moment.
Ever since the vaccine was developed, the harm from parasites still existed, but it wasn't as severe.
Especially since the Worm Mother of the parasites had been dealt with, the parasites could no longer act as a unified force, and without that unity, they had lost their greatest threat.
But the bugs were too small and too numerous.
Mature bugs wouldn't easily die after leaving a human body; they could even survive by relying on wild beasts or other flesh-and-blood creatures, though without a human brain, they couldn't reproduce.
Yet, those scattered bugs were still a huge nuisance.
This time, they had heard there were bugs in this forest, so they had come to hunt them down.
It had been three days of wandering the forest, but they hadn't seen any bugs.
Someone couldn't help but ask: "Captain, is it possible there are no bugs here? Was that missing persons case just a simple disappearance?"
"If it really was the work of bugs, a large swarm would have appeared by now," the cold-tempered woman glanced at her teammate. "We haven't finished searching yet, what's your rush?"
