Chapter 479: Living People in the Outpatient Building

Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train

Ming Chu turned back and, sure enough, saw the familiar Head Nurse.

The Head Nurse's stern face seemed to have stretched significantly. She looked at Ming Chu with a sinister, insincere smile. "By the way, Nurse Lin, didn't I tell you to go help on the 4th floor earlier? Why are you here?"

"I was chasing someone who tried to escape. He ran out, and I was afraid he'd disturb the other patients and doctors, so I wanted to check on him," Ming Chu said casually.

She was certain that after so much time, Wen Zheng had already gotten away.

"You really saw him?" The Head Nurse stepped forward, her unnaturally elongated face inches from Ming Chu's.

Ming Chu caught a faint, strange stench.

However, Ming Chu wasn't rattled by her sudden proximity. Instead, she calmly pushed her away. "Tell me, Head Nurse, have you not brushed your teeth in a long time?"

The Head Nurse, who had intended to scare Ming Chu: "?"

Her complexion shifted from red to black, and she gritted her teeth. "Lin Sheng!"

"I'm right here." Ming Chu looked innocent. She glanced outside. "Head Nurse, are you still going to let me go chase him? If I lose him, don't blame me."

"Heh." The Head Nurse sneered. "Fine, I'll give you two hours. If you don't find him, you'd better be ready for the consequences!"

Tsk.

Once the Head Nurse left, Ming Chu stepped out of the inpatient building.

Ming Chu didn't know if the hospital was originally laid out this way or if it had been altered.

There were four buildings in total, arranged in a line from front to back.

The inpatient building wasn't the tallest; it only had six floors. The tallest was the dormitory building, where Ming Chu lived, which was also the building at the very front.

Behind the dormitory building, in order, were: the inpatient building, the outpatient building, and the office building.

Of the four, only the dormitory and inpatient buildings were connected; the other two stood independently.
