Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
The boat was shaped roughly like a turtle.
However, this turtle had no shell; its back was completely open, but it looked like it could carry a lot of supplies.
Zhong Shuang introduced it as such: "It doesn't submerge. It's the prototype for an offshore factory. I'll add some other functions to it later, but its primary purpose is to carry raw materials."
So, the first thing to do now was to move the wood onto it.
The people moving it were, of course, Ming Chu and Yan Yan, as they had the most strength.
The turtle was about the size of two basketball courts. The container only occupied a corner, leaving plenty of room for other things.
However...
"Should we set up a shed first?"
"There's a simple shed." Zhong Shuang was well-prepared, but this shed was quite thin and couldn't withstand strong winds or rain.
But it was barely enough for now.
Ming Chu poked Zhong Shuang: "When are you going to make the turtle shell?"
"Oh, I'm afraid that giant turtle will mistake my turtle boat for one of its own kind. My boat might not be able to withstand it bumping into us." Zhong Shuang said nonchalantly.
Ming Chu, however, saw the giant sea turtle indeed hovering near the boat.
"I'll communicate with it." Ming Chu promised.
Zhong Shuang's eyes flickered: "Can you draw some of its blood for me?"
Ming Chu understood; this was Zhong Shuang's true goal.
Since Zhong Shuang chose to be direct, she asked directly: "Why do you need its blood?"
"Aren't you curious why the 'Godly Maiden' is so special? Besides the fact that I added some material properties that are invisible to marine life, another reason is that I actually added jellyfish genes to it."
This gene allowed it to function even while sleeping in seawater.
It could even derive a certain amount of energy from the seawater.
