Chapter 368: Evolutionary Direction

Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train

In the small warehouse, the boy who was holding his sister tightly and staring fixedly at the door had his pupils trembling violently. He suspected someone was trying to trick him, so he bit his lip and stayed silent.

But his sister whispered: "Brother, it's Sister."

Ming Chu heard the sound and confirmed it was the two children. She instructed: "I will block the door with something from the outside. Bear with it for a while; I'll come back to pick you up later."

As she spoke, there was the sound of objects being moved.

The boy inside hesitated for a moment before whispering: "Sister?"

"Are you two holding up okay?"

"We're holding up. We have water and snacks," the brother answered obediently.

Ming Chu: "Alright, remember, I will come to get you, so if anyone else asks, don't answer."

On her way out, Ming Chu also took the time to close the glass door.

Although the two children were still in the dark little warehouse, they were suddenly no longer afraid.

Ming Chu had saved them from a shipping container once before, and now, Ming Chu was here again.

The two children waited obediently while Ming Chu went on a rampage through the mall.

Besides the two children, there were a few other survivors whom Mengmeng could confirm were not infected. Ming Chu went to knock on their doors one by one, telling them not to come out under any circumstances because she was clearing the area.

She didn't know if they believed her, but even if they didn't, they were even more afraid to come out.

Four floors, plus the fact that some Blood-Crazy patients were very good at hiding, meant it took Ming Chu quite a while to finish clearing the place.

Some Blood-Crazy patients had run outside, but they hadn't gotten very far.

Because there were people guarding outside, and besides guns, they had found three-meter-long poles from somewhere and tied knives to the ends.

How should one put it? The corpses of the Blood-Crazy patients looked quite mangled, but they really hadn't let anyone escape.
