Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ming Chu had always known that Aloshi was very good-looking.
Whether it was his delicate features or his temperament, they were truly top-tier.
It was just that Ming Chu wasn't someone who judged by appearances; compared to Aloshi's temperament, she valued his dog-like nose more.
But if Ming Chu could ignore Aloshi's face before, now her eyes couldn't help but be attracted to it.
If one had to make a comparison, the previous Aloshi was like the divine-looking men and women Ming Chu would occasionally come across in short videos, while the current one was that same divine beauty, but multiplied by 100 in beauty enhancements, 100 in filters, and 100 in contouring, all while possessing a natural, soft-focus allure.
Especially after being face-to-face at close range, Ming Chu's gaze could barely move away.
Fortunately, after overcoming the initial daze, Ming Chu forced her gaze away. She covered her eyes, helpless: "Aloshi, can you... can you tone it down?"
Aloshi's voice was innocent: "Tone what down? What's wrong with me?"
"You're not human, are you?" Ming Chu suddenly said.
Aloshi was stunned.
Ming Chu covered her face, unable to see his expression, but when Aloshi paused, she was even more certain of her guess.
"In Chinese mythology, there are Jiaoren (merfolk), and in other countries' legends, there are mermaids and sirens. You are a similar species, aren't you? That's why when we first met, you were very dehydrated." Ming Chu hadn't just come up with this guess now.
It was just that scattered clues had combined into her current hypothesis.
"That day we were being chased by Mad Blood patients from the town, you disappeared when I got into the car. You were in the RV's bathroom, showering to rehydrate."
So, the day Ming Chu felt Aloshi was shrouded in water mist, it hadn't been an illusion either.
That was Aloshi's ability. He relied on this ability to possess superb speed, but the drawback was that there wasn't enough water on land, so he had to rehydrate in time.
If he hadn't known there was a shower room in the RV and that the water tank wasn't lacking water, he probably wouldn't have dared to use his ability so casually.
