Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Although they said they were leaving, they couldn't just head out immediately; at the very least, they needed to agree on a route.
Besides, no one had eaten lunch, so they all needed to grab a bite.
There was no time to cook a hot meal, so they settled for bread and instant noodles. Fortunately, none of them were particularly picky, and having fruit after the noodles was already a luxury.
While eating, they discussed their escape route.
"We need to leave this city, at the very least," Assistant Xiao Yu said with a grave expression, "and we need to do it as soon as possible, or I'm afraid they'll lock down the entire city."
Professor Wang Rui wanted to say something but stopped herself; thinking about how far her intended destination was, she kept her mouth shut.
She couldn't let these young people risk their lives just for her own aspirations.
"Our first step is to get out of the city. Let's pick a road," Ming Chu said, taking out her tablet and opening the downloaded city map.
The map she had downloaded was high-definition, detailed enough to show the shops on every street.
However, she lived in the center of the city, so no matter which direction they chose, it wasn't exactly close.
Moreover, with 'Mad Blood' monsters already appearing downstairs, there would only be more of them on their way out.
"I want to go in this direction," Ming Chu said, pointing to one of the routes.
The others had no objections to this.
Ming Chu clapped her hands. "Alright, the eggs we boiled should be ready. Rinse them off and pack them up. I'll go pack my things, and we leave in five minutes."
With that, she went into her room.
She hadn't expected to leave so soon, so she hadn't asked Tali to help tidy up. Once inside, she opened the wardrobe to take a look.
There were quite a few clothes in the closet, and they all looked brand new. Ming Chu didn't waste them and took them all.
There were also shoes that were exactly her size.
She even took the quilt from the bed, not to mention the small appliances.
Basically, she put everything into her spatial storage, leaving only a backpack in her hand.
Compared to Ming Chu, who had things to pack, Tali had nothing to do, so she helped pack the items in the refrigerator.
"Alright, let's go." Ming Chu looked at the fruit and gave Hu Lin and the others a meaningful look.
