Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Seeing that it could guarantee they would enter other worlds together, Ming Chu was tempted.
If more people in China activated the Follower System, could they form teams freely? Just this ability to form teams freely could save a lot of trouble.
But soon, the customer service of the Infinite Train app poured a bucket of cold water on Ming Chu.
[The Follower System requires a willingness to follow of over 80 from members not of the same country or train to trigger activation. Furthermore, once activated, it cannot select players who are already on the same train as the player.]
Ming Chu was a little disappointed.
Lan Qi was nervous: "What's wrong? Is something not right?"
"No, it's just that the conditions for activating the Follower System are very strict. I originally thought I could let you all activate the Follower System too, because followers and the ones they follow can be fixed to be dropped into the same location in every other world."
Lan Qi understood what Ming Chu meant, but she shook her head: "The train won't give us a chance to exploit loopholes. Besides, if there were a Follower System, who knows if there will be a Team System in the future?"
"That's true." Ming Chu was only a little disappointed at first, but with Tali, even if she went to other worlds in the future, she could quickly find the players on her side.
It was all roads leading to the same destination.
"By the way, Tali, since it's confirmed that you'll be getting off the train in China with me, remember to write a list and address for your relatives in India. I'll find a way to have someone bring your family over."
"No need to bring them over." Tali lowered her head, her voice very soft, "The only family I cared about was my sister. My sister was a player, and she has already... passed away."
"But she would also be happy that you were able to escape the quagmire."
Ming Chu's comfort to Tali was to stuff her with a pile of snacks.
Tali still slept in the same room as Lan Qi. Their two rooms were relatively small, so Cheng Cheng didn't go over there.
