Chapter 273: Awuh Dares Not Gamble

Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train

Ming Chu didn't recognize the young man. She covered Chu Xin's mouth and took her to hide behind a tall piece of equipment.

She whispered in Chu Xin's ear: "Is that him?"

Chu Xin couldn't speak because her mouth was covered, but she nodded.

Ming Chu instructed: "Be careful. I'm going to bring Awuh out."

Chu Xin nodded again.

Ming Chu then put the cube aside and went in to find Awuh.

This time, Awuh wasn't sitting cross-legged but was irritably flipping through a book.

When the apocalypse broke out, she was just a fifth-grade elementary student, so at least she knew how to read. Her brother had also been teaching her to read during the three years he was around, so Awuh wasn't exactly illiterate.

But she just couldn't get into these books, even if they were interesting miscellaneous ones.

When she saw Ming Chu enter again, she stood up from the floor in a flash, her face full of tension and expectation: "Sister Ming Chu, did you find my brother?"

"Chu Xin says that's your brother, so I'm preparing to take you out now. But I'll warn you first: our goal today is not to rescue him, but only to confirm that your brother is indeed still alive. So, no matter what you see, no matter how you feel, you cannot make a sound or take any action."

Awuh's face turned pale.

She understood what Ming Chu meant; her brother's condition must not be good.

But she had actually been mentally prepared for a long time; as long as her brother was alive, that was enough.

She took a deep breath and said seriously to Ming Chu: "I can hold it in."

"Good." Ming Chu held her hand and took her out.

At that very moment, Awuh froze.

She saw the person in the glass water tank. Her eyes were already brimming with tears, but she bit her lip hard and didn't make a sound.

There were only the three of them, but there were quite a few people present, not just researchers, but also many bodyguards carrying guns.
