Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
The snake head lunged forward with lightning speed, catching Amu in its mouth.
Amu shrieked: "Big Sister, avenge me!"
Then she tilted her head and went limp.
The python was stunned. It looked at the expressionless Ming Chu and opened its mouth, wanting to spit the child out to show Ming Chu it really hadn't bitten down hard. But a small hand was gripping its two fangs tightly, forcing her little body to lie sideways in its mouth.
The python felt wronged.
The python was in disbelief.
The python couldn't drop the child, so it just froze.
The man standing on the tree caught a glimpse of the python's chin hanging down from above his head. His whole body went stiff, his mind blank.
After a long while, his lips moved, and he let out a shrill scream: "Ahhhhh, a giant snake!!"
His pants wet themselves, and losing all strength, he tumbled downward.
From a branch seven or eight meters high, his leg slammed into a hard tree root as he fell. With a "crack," his leg twisted.
Ming Chu's eyes were dark. With a flick of her hand, another gun appeared. With a few "bangs," the only man standing on the ground took a bullet in each knee.
The intense pain combined with the loss of balance caused the man to collapse. He groaned, glaring at Ming Chu, who looked down at him from above, and endured the pain to aim his gun at her.
He pulled the trigger, but nothing happened.
Ming Chu gave a cold smile: "Idiot, you didn't even check if there were bullets in the gun. You deserve to die."
The man felt a chill in his heart. In that moment, he finally realized that Ming Chu was not one of those submissive women from their country; she had plenty of strength and means.
He shouldn't have provoked Ming Chu. She had been willing to save them at the very beginning!
Ming Chu didn't care about the men's regrets. She jumped to another tree and softened her tone toward the ball python: "Just put Amu down for now. I'll settle the score with her later."
