Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Saying she would travel from the trees didn't mean Ming Chu was prepared to jump openly across the treetops; that wasn't being bold, that was being foolish.
She basically stayed within five meters of the very top of the trees, jumping between branches, and would climb to the peak every three to five trees to confirm her direction.
It must be said, Ming Chu's sense of direction wasn't bad, but in a place like this, she had deviated several times, though fortunately, she corrected it in time.
But 'looking at a mountain and running a horse to death' was true, especially since Ming Chu's eyesight was excellent, allowing her to see things very far away. This meant that even though she had seen the giant tree from the start, after running for another hour, the giant tree still looked hazy in her eyes.
And at this moment, the sky was gradually darkening.
Ming Chu thought for a moment, then tied a small object to the tree she was currently on, setting a one-minute timer.
Then she ran quickly.
One minute was enough for Ming Chu to cover the distance of fifteen trees.
Actually, it wasn't that she could only run fifteen trees; she just didn't want to run too far, as it would be hard to observe the commotion caused by the object she had left behind.
When the one-minute countdown hit zero, fireworks suddenly exploded above the forest.
The sound of the fireworks was loud and very obvious in the evening light.
Three kilometers away from Ming Chu, a player who had landed in the treetops was trembling. He was afraid of heights, so he didn't dare move, but his arms and legs were becoming numb, and he suspected he would die here if he didn't move.
It was at this moment that he saw the fireworks exploding.
As if he had seen a savior, he hurriedly started shouting: "Big brother! Big sister! Help! Save me!!"
Because his throat was hoarse from not drinking water, he had used up all his strength, and the sound he shouted wasn't particularly loud.
The response he got wasn't someone else's voice, but an abrupt clap of thunder.
Ming Chu looked up at the lightning in the sky, her face expressionless.
This rainforest was full of trees; saying one shouldn't be under a tree on a rainy day was impossible.
