Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Mengmeng's words were like dropping a bomb. Everyone—Ming Chu, the woman, Taozi, as well as Yan Yan and the Mind-Reader player who had followed the vanished Ming Chu and Taozi—was shocked by the statement.
The fact that the base had an intelligent AI wasn't exactly surprising. Since robots as human-like as these had appeared, weren't those robots just like small, individual intelligent AIs?
Wasn't it normal for there to be a larger one?
But what did Mengmeng say? It was so small, yet it could directly make those robots lose their combat effectiveness?
Did that mean the outcome of the battle was actually in Ming Chu's hands?
Ming Chu, however, asked first: "What would you have to sacrifice?"
"I might have to sleep for a while. But it doesn't matter, I'll sleep in the little house. Sleeping for three years at most will be enough."
Ming Chu: "..."
Three years?
Was that a duration one could just say so easily?
Her life up to this point had only spanned seven three-year periods.
"You don't need to expend so much energy to do these things. Just stay by my side and help me identify some robots," Ming Chu rejected Mengmeng's bold idea.
Mengmeng drooped its bear ears in disappointment: "Does Master not trust me?"
"I just don't want you to sleep for so long," Ming Chu said.
