Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
"We have another teammate. Can she come with us too?" Ming Chu didn't forget Lin Tongtong. It was Lin Tongtong's diary that had given her inspiration and caution at the beginning, and besides, one more person meant more cover.
Wang Rui remembered Lin Tongtong; after all, in this school, Ming Chu's group of three was the one she saw most often.
"Technically, no," Wang Rui pondered. "But since you're a team of three, it's not impossible if you're willing to bring her."
Ming Chu and Li Xian high-fived in delight.
Getting leave with Wang Rui was incredibly easy. Without needing much explanation, the three of them got their leave slips. The teacher didn't even ask a single question and approved them immediately.
When leaving the school, Li Xian was still a bit dazed. She couldn't help but ask: "So if we both become Paranormal Police, can we get leave this easily too?"
Heaven knows that senior year is the hardest time to get leave!
Yet, she had just walked out so easily.
"You can get leave, but you aren't allowed to without a valid reason, otherwise your subsidy will be deducted," Wang Rui explained.
Li Xian was pleasantly surprised: "There's a subsidy for being a Paranormal Police?"
"Yes, a subsidy of 3,000 yuan a month."
Li Xian's envious tears flowed from the corners of her mouth.
As a high school student living at school and eating in the cafeteria, her monthly living expenses were only 1,500, which was already quite generous.
To think the Paranormal Police subsidy was 3,000 yuan! If she had been a Paranormal Police in her freshman year, who knows how cheerful a girl she would have been.
Ming Chu was also surprised by the subsidy, but what she cared about most was the weapon in Wang Rui's hand.
"If I become a Paranormal Police, can I have your weapon too?"
