Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ming Chu really did set off that night. It was impossible to dismantle a high-speed train for Ming Chu in the middle of the night, so they ended up traveling by RV.
It was a large RV, and an off-road model at that. It was a bit crowded for 11 people, but it was enough.
No one was gambling with their lives now; even those traveling long distances back to their hometowns would find a city in between to rest in advance.
So, the highways were actually not congested. The drivers were arranged by the authorities; while these people weren't combat-ready, their driving skills were excellent.
Two people could sit in the front of the RV, and those two became Ming Chu and Qiao Hui, while the others rested and ate in the back.
Ming Chu, in the front, was also eating.
Because Qiao Hui was there, Ming Chu wasn’t eating things from her spatial storage, but rather things she had taken before leaving, such as self-heating hot pot and mixed noodles. There was boiling water on the vehicle, so the noodles were soaking, and the self-heating hot pot was also filled with cold water to start heating up.
The aroma filled the front of the vehicle. Ming Chu asked Qiao Hui: “Do you want to eat anything else?”
“No need, I’ll just have instant noodles.” Qiao Hui kept her hands neatly on her knees, looking at Ming Chu with hesitation. “Do... do you trust me that much?”
“Of course. If I don’t trust you, who would I trust?” Ming Chu looked out the front window and could still see some Geocentric Pterosaurs circling in the dark night, but they all ignored their vehicle.
The instant noodles and hot pot were ready. Ming Chu pulled over a fixed small table and started eating, and Qiao Hui also began eating her noodles.
The mixed noodles weren’t as hot, so Ming Chu finished faster. After finishing, she started munching on bread and fruit. Once her stomach was mostly full, Ming Chu turned to Qiao Hui: “Coming up with me? Let’s not waste the trip; let’s kill a few more Geocentric Pterosaurs.”
Qiao Hui was stunned: “Up?”
“Yes, there are railings on top that can be raised. Don’t worry, I won’t let you get hurt.”
