Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
From Xu Ruo, Ming Chu learned that about a year ago, the environment on Blue Star started to go wrong. Icebergs were melting faster, the greenhouse effect was widespread, many plants and animals were dying, small-scale earthquakes and tsunamis were frequent, and various epidemic viruses were emerging...
These events were increasing at a speed that seemed gentle but was actually very obvious.
The top minds in the Xia Kingdom spent half a year collecting and calculating data, only to conclude that within ten years, Blue Star would experience an extreme outbreak of all natural disasters and viruses, a catastrophe more terrifying than the Ice Age extinction would befall all living things.
And this was simply because the apocalypse was invading.
Ming Chu was shocked to the point of feeling faint. She covered her forehead: "Sister Ruo, let me process this."
After a long while, she asked with difficulty: "For example, was the apocalypse we just experienced one of these doomsdays?"
"Yes." Xu Ruo sighed, "I only know that if we can survive in the other world, it's good for us, and... look at this earthquake. If an accident happens, having the power to avoid or resist it is for the best."
The most important thing was...
"Although everyone only has one chance to be chosen, we are just the first batch of passengers."
The next time more players are added, it might be their loved ones.
Therefore, Xu Ruo told Ming Chu that continuing to log into the Infinite Train had more benefits than risks.
Ming Chu sat quietly for a long time before saying to Xu Ruo: "Sister Ruo, thank you for telling me this."
"You're welcome." Xu Ruo shook her head, "If you run into any difficulties, you can tell me, and I will try my best to help you solve them."
Ming Chu suddenly thought: "There is actually something I need your help with."
Xu Ruo: "What?"
Ming Chu first took out a solid gold bracelet, a 100g gold bar, a vial of medicine, a research document, and a tube of blood: "I want to exchange the gold for cash. The medicine and research documents were given to me by Dr. Jin, and the blood is Xu Pan's. I want to entrust these three things to you."
