Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
Ming Chu wore a face still rounded with baby fat, looking much like a high school student with incredibly clear eyes. Yet, Dr. Jin no longer found her harmless; instead, she felt there was something deeply uncanny about the girl.
When she really thought about it, Xu Pan was obviously dangerous, and Xu Ruo, who had appeared later, could intercept bullets with her own. Even Ming Chu, who seemed young and harmless, was walking brazenly outside the safe zone in this apocalypse while carrying a baby.
It was all so bizarre. How had she not noticed it before?
Dr. Jin asked with a grave expression, "Who exactly are you people?"
Xu Pan, standing nearby, suddenly spoke up, "Don't move recklessly. Even if you pull the pin on that grenade, I can snatch it away and toss it before it has any effect on us."
Dr. Jin's face turned pale.
She didn't doubt Xu Pan's words; she had witnessed his combat prowess earlier. As a researcher, she probably couldn't even beat Ming Chu, let alone Xu Pan.
"We're actually just innocent passersby. Look, they blew out our RV's tires, which is why we stopped. That's a vaccine in your case, right? We don't need all of it, just give us a portion. Between saving your life just now, the fact that we're about to save your companion, and the fact that we can protect you for at least a day or two, what do you think of that trade?" Ming Chu attempted to negotiate.

Dr. Jin's eyes shifted to Xu Pan. "This isn't the vaccine you need. He requires a vaccine to control his mutation; even if you take this, it won't be of any use to him."
After a pause, Dr. Jin added, "I can promise to develop a new vaccine for him. You must have just escaped, right? Based on his current state, he has at least three months."
Ming Chu: "?"
Xu Pan: "?"
Xu Ruo: "?"
The three of them were bewildered. Only Yiyi, looking at the hair near Ming Chu's cheek, raised her little hand and let out an "Ah-ah!" sound, trying to grab it.
Ming Chu looked at Dr. Jin's resistant and guarded expression and suddenly smiled. Her eyes changed; while still appearing innocent, that innocence now carried a sense of aggression and danger. "Oh, as expected, researchers are all quite clever. You figured that out, did you? Then think about this: now that you've fallen into our hands, how should I deal with you?"
Xu Ruo, standing nearby: "?"
