Apocalypse Invasion: Survival on the Infinite Train
The farmhouse was near the highway entrance; it only took ten minutes to turn off and arrive.
There was only this one farmhouse here, with nothing else around.
Surprisingly, however, there were people inside.
Fearing they might startle anyone, Ming Chu and Xu Ruo were the ones to get out and knock on the door.
"Is anyone home?"
Ming Chu pressed the doorbell. No one came, but it did attract some zombies. Xu Ruo didn't even use her gun, dispatching the two approaching zombies with just her blade.
After finishing off the zombies, Xu Ruo suddenly looked up and saw the curtains on the second floor of the farmhouse villa move.
She raised her voice: "We are just looking to stay for the night. Could you please open the door for us?"
Outside the door, Ming Chu and Xu Ruo waited.
Inside the small villa, a husband and wife were having a disagreement.
"They are only staying for one night; letting them in for a night isn't a big deal," the wife said.
The husband disagreed: "Look at their vehicle. Does that look like something ordinary people have? And who knows if there are only two of them? You saw how they killed those monsters like they were chopping vegetables. If we let them in and they decide to rob us, what then?"
The wife replied: "Look at that vehicle. If they really wanted to force their way in, do you think our door could stop them?"
The massive motorhome looked like a beast; it was obvious it could ram through anything.
The husband was speechless.
